Niklas A. Chroust

About me

I was born in Vienna Hietzing in 2004 as the second of three children. I started piano lessons at the age of six. Over time, I discovered the joy of composing and had composition lessons with Hans G. Kitzbichler at the Johann Sebastian Bach Music School (JSBM) from 2017 to 2023. Since October 2022 I have been studying composition with Gerald Resch and since October 2023 instrumental pedagogy (IGP) piano with Cornelia Herrmann at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).

Es ist schon nicht falsch, wenn manche Leute sagen, Musik sei eine Droge. Es ist eine.
It’s not wrong when some people say that music is a drug. It is one.
